Swissair
When you fly First Class with Swissair, you enjoy service at its very best. They provide premium international travel. First class has many features, including a table that lets you hold a conference, or a dinner, for two; a seat that transforms into a bed 201 cm long and 60 cm wide, and a gastronomic feast featuring as many as eight courses, created by two of the finest chefs in the world.
Simply press the button and you can prepare to sleep, or move the seat into the correct position for relaxing or working.
The finest foods are selected and prepared by the finest chefs. Flight attendants in First Class must speak at least three languages perfectly and be, well, absolutely first-class in every way.
Dinner is sheer à la carte pleasure. When you've had time to peruse the menu over your aperitif, not only does Swissair ask what you'd like to eat, but also when you'd like to eat. And you're served straight from the cart, to make sure that you receive exactly what you want, the way you want it. If you prefer something slightly less extravagant, a shorter meal would no doubt be more to your taste. Either way, the choice is yours.
Business Class
In Business Class you enjoy more space, more comfort, more attention and a wider choice. But it's not just the flight that's more enjoyable - it's every stage of your journey
A business trip often means intense preparation followed by a hectic series of meetings. So your flight should be the opposite - a quiet time to rest and restore your energy.
On long-haul flights, Business Class seats offer lower back support and leg rest angle and length adjustment. The headrest position, height and side flaps are also fully adjustable. And on the new Airbus A330, most of these adjustments are electrically operated. You'll run out of work before you run out of steam. Swissair Business Class seats will soon be equipped with a power source for your laptop. All you'll need is an adapter cable for a hypertronic socket.
You'd expect the emphasis to be on Swiss cuisine, with its rich choice of salads, vegetables and fruit. Wherever possible, Swissair uses naturally-grown ingredients, carefully prepared to preserve natural goodness and flavors.
On long-haul flights there are four dinner menus, and even a choice of three different breakfasts. And so that frequent flyers don't have to have frequent dishes, the menu is completely changed every two months.
